South Tulsa Community House (STCH) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Client Services Specialist to join our team.
Position: Client Services Specialist
Department: Programs
Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, up to 33 hours per week
Location: South Tulsa Community House
About the Position
The Client Services Specialist plays an important role in helping individuals and families access STCH services and community resources. This position supports the day-to-day operation of client services, oversees client intake and qualification, connects clients with resources and opportunities for empowerment, and provides administrative and customer service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate client intake and qualification for STCH services
- Review client applications and requalification documentation
- Connect clients with community resources and opportunities for empowerment
- Maintain accurate records and complete required program and compliance reporting
- Assist clients, visitors, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and redirect phone calls and monitor voicemail and email
- Provide general administrative support
- Serve as a substitute in other program areas when needed
- Perform additional duties that support STCH programs and operations
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Relevant professional experience
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent
- Has intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Has basic database experience
- Can work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Has 1-2 years of nonprofit experience preferred
- Has previous program or department management experience preferred
