Overview/Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced AI Voice Agent Implementation Specialist to work with applied AI systems, large language models, and conversational AI platforms.
This role supports the deployment, configuration, testing, and optimization of AI-voice agents used in production environments.
A key part of the position involves building and supporting AI Voice Agents using platforms such as ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, Twilio, and similar technologies.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who already has practical experience building AI Voice Agents. It is not an entry-level position for someone looking to learn Voice Agent development for the first time.
This role involves configuring existing AI solutions, developing and optimizing prompts, testing Voice Agents, reviewing outputs and conversations, performing quality assurance, and assisting with ongoing optimization and internal AI enablement.
Daily Responsibilities
- Build, configure, deploy, and support AI Voice Agents
- Customize AI behavior based on business, location, and use-case requirements
- Develop and optimize prompts, instructions, and conversation flows
- Test AI systems through simulations, test calls, and real-world usage scenarios
- Review conversations and system outputs to identify issues, inconsistencies, or optimization opportunities
- Perform quality assurance on AI responses, call behavior, and system performance
- Configure tools, knowledge sources, appointment workflows, transfers, and other agent actions
- Assist with APIs, webhooks, calendars, CRMs, and system integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve prompt, workflow, integration, and configuration issues
- Work with multiple AI models and platforms to support performance and reliability
- Support internal teams by improving the effective and responsible use of AI tools
- Help document internal AI guidelines, best practices, and learnings
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, testing, and changes
Skills (Required)
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, or supporting AI Voice Agents
- Experience building Voice Agents that handle live customer calls
- Experience with platforms such as ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, Twilio, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and conversational AI behavior
- Experience testing and improving AI systems used in production environments
- Ability to analyze conversations, system outputs, and AI-generated responses
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
- Familiarity with large language models such as OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and quality assurance
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify the source of incorrect AI behavior
- Comfort handling varied tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Three or more years of relevant experience with applied AI, conversational systems, automation, or technical implementation
- Experience with appointment scheduling, customer intake, call transfers, or customer service workflows

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
