Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with pool maintenance equipment.
Duties
- Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Conduct water quality tests and balance chemicals as needed to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their pool systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred. Applicants with pool service experience will be considered first and pay will be weighed accordingly.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in pool maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service standards are met.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to carry up to 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
