Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track stock levels, order processing, and shipment status.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately within inventory management software, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with trade regulations.
- Assist with shipping logistics by preparing orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, labeling, and verifying shipments via RF scanners and barcode systems.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols and trade compliance standards.
- Support order fulfillment activities by selecting items with order pickers or reach trucks, ensuring timely delivery for e-commerce or distribution channels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accuracy in warehouse records and prevent discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status, shipment tracking, or product availability in a professional manner.
Skills
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, logistics coordination, and international trade regulations.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts (certified), reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers.
- Basic math skills for counting stock quantities, calculating weights or measurements for packaging purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking procedures, order picking & packing, load & unload activities, and trade compliance standards.
