Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction management principles. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and guiding your team to successfully complete projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing direction and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to guide construction efforts effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Utilize software such as Primavera for project planning and tracking progress.
- Ensure that all materials are available on-site and that work is completed according to contract specifications.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
- Proficiency in project scheduling techniques with experience in Primavera or similar software.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints to guide construction efforts.
- Ability to operate an ohmmeter and other relevant tools for quality assurance in electrical work.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
