Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered, cleaned, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Duties
- Launder and clean various types of linens, towels, and garments following established procedures.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean items for easy distribution throughout the hotel.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as required, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.
