Mestex is seeking a New Product Development Electrical Engineer to support new product development and electrical design automation within our engineering team.
This role focuses on AutoCAD Electrical design, rules-based automation, electrical schematics, and manufacturing-ready product support in a collaborative HVAC manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD Electrical drawings and standards
- Support rules-based electrical design automation
- Create schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs
- Support product testing, validation, and engineering changes
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Help drive scalable and efficient product design solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of electrical design experience
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Three-phase power systems
- Low-voltage controls
- Panel layouts and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment
