Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Manager Employment type: Full-time, hourly Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime (with optional weekend event work at premium pay) Compensation: $16–$18/hour starting, based on experience
Company Overview
I Do Linens is a vertically integrated luxury linen rental and manufacturing company serving the wedding and event industry across Atlanta and the Southeast. We supply premium linens to roughly 85 events every week, and getting them to and from those events clean, complete, and on time is the heart of what we do.
Position Summary
We're looking for a reliable, efficient full-time Delivery Driver to move our linens between the warehouse and event venues across metro Atlanta. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in being dependable and getting things done. When you're not on the road, you'll be on-site supporting installs or in the warehouse helping shipping and receiving — so we want someone who likes to stay busy and contribute across the operation, not just drive.
Reliability is the single most important quality for this role. Our events are date-locked — a late or missed delivery isn't an option — so we need someone we can count on, every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up linens to and from event venues across the Atlanta metro, on time, every time.
- Plan and run multi-stop routes efficiently against tight event schedules.
- Load and secure linens properly so they arrive clean, crease-free, and undamaged.
- Represent I Do Linens professionally with venue staff and clients.
- Keep the vehicle clean, maintained, and road-ready; report issues promptly.
- When deliveries are light: support install and strike crews on-site, and help in the warehouse with pulls, staging, returns, and general shipping/receiving work.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Prior local / multi-stop delivery experience; comfortable and confident driving a cargo van.
- Strong reliability and punctuality — this is non-negotiable for the role.
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Comfortable using handheld scanners, tablets, or basic inventory systems.
- A positive, get-it-done attitude and willingness to pitch in across installs and warehouse work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish/English bilingual ability. Much of our warehouse and install team is Spanish-speaking, so it helps with day-to-day communication. Preferred, not required.
- Experience handling fragile or high-value items.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to be on your feet, loading, driving, and moving throughout the workday.
Compensation & Benefits
- $16–$18/hour starting, based on experience.
- Optional weekend and evening event shifts available at a premium rate for extra earnings.
- 401(k) with company match after one year.
- Paid time off after one year.
- Healthcare stipend through Lehra.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Weekend work is not required for the core role; optional weekend event shifts are available at premium pay for those who want the extra hours.
