Join our Worthington Steel HR team as a People Center Coordinator. This HR Shared Services role will provide exemplary HR operational customer service to all employees and families, candidates & HR Business Partners by responding to telephonic and/or electronic first-level HR inquiries. Providing either direct resolution or routing the inquiry to the appropriate next step to address accordingly. Serves as first point of contact for HR questions, responding to all HR Shared Service inquiries and providing transactional administration for employee life cycle events. This may include: compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, learning, HR policies, and payroll.
Responsibilities

Provide high level customer service by ensuring all incoming questions are fully addressed in a timely manner.

Enroll and update employee benefit elections through system administration and benefit education

Troubleshoot general employee questions received through the HR Shared Service Center, using critical analysis and problem solving to resolve the issue before escalating or routing to another department.

Process transactional work from HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (COEs)and Leadership

Maintain knowledge database, SOP documentation and escalate trending issues to the appropriate next level
