We are looking for a dependable Sheet Metal Fabricator / Driver to join our team. We manufacture metal roofing panels and fabricate trim from flat stock. This position is primarily a driving job, including hauling coils, delivering materials, and pulling a panel‑machine trailer to job sites to run panels.
When driving work is light, you will help in the shop with trim fabrication, cutting tickets for the brake operator, and general material handling. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and working in a fast‑paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull a panel‑machine trailer to job sites, run metal roofing panels, and return to the shop.
- Change roll sets in the panel machine for different panel profiles.
- Fabricate trim from flat stock (drip edge, ridge cap, gable trim, J‑channel, Z‑trim, etc.) using a 10' shear, folding brake, and hand tools.
- Safely load, secure, and transport coils and finished materials using a 20' trailer.
- Assist with basic rigging and material handling on job sites (no roofing or installation).
- Cut tickets for the brake operator and support daily shop workflow.
- Maintain simple documentation such as panel counts, coil usage, and basic inspection notes.
