This position is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at Wiggly Bridge Distillery. In joining our founders you must have a passion for learning the details of the spirits we create and our general operations as well as communicate that experience.
Responsibilities include proving exemplary service in our tasting room that is typically open from 11 am to 8 pm 7 days a week (No late nights). Greeting customers promptly and courteously while making them feel part of our family. Creating and preparing our craft cocktails for patrons to enjoy.
Job Description Details:
Must be 21 years of age.
Excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times.
A passion for food, beverage and knowledge a plus
Proficiency in bartending and the creation of fabulous craft cocktails is great but guess what, we make spirits and can teach willing candidates about our craft.
Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of our spirits and processes.
Able to multitask and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision at times.
Effectively suggests and sells spirits to customers.
Describes spirits and distillery history to customers.
Answers visitor's questions and able to provide general tourist information.
Working and assisting with special events after hours if needed.
Open to working other special events off property when needed.
Work in a creative environment and open to performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: This position requires a friendly, outgoing persona. Able to work flexible schedules. Weekends, holidays and evenings may be required. Retail experience a plus. Professional appearance and demeanor is expected.
