Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading quality and performance improvement initiatives across the organization using clinical processes, outcomes, external benchmarks, and healthcare quality data.
- Promote and support a standardized, proactive approach to utilizing data and information to improve clinical and operational outcomes.
- Provide support to leaders and teams in identifying opportunities to achieve and sustain top-tier performance.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal customers by delivering analytics, national comparisons, and actionable insights related to clinical processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and relevance of quality reporting.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare quality metrics, definitions, and measurement methodologies.
- Utilize data warehouses and other data sources to support quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals.
- Mentor teams and stakeholders in the effective use of standardized reporting and performance information.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to connect clinical workflows with meaningful data analyses and performance improvement strategies.
- Lead quality improvement discussions and initiatives in support of Clinical Excellence across the health system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Data Management/Analytics, or a related field.
- Required: 5 years of healthcare experience or 5 years of experience in a related healthcare field.
- Required: Knowledge of State and Federal Healthcare Quality Measures.
- Required: Database and data analytics skills.
- Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Required: Experience with Analytics or Healthcare Informatics
- Required: Expertise with Cerner
- Required: Experience with Tableau and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Credentials:
- Required: Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Preferred Skills:
- 3 years of management experience.
- 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience with healthcare quality metrics and performance improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting, benchmarking, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working with healthcare data warehouses, reporting tools, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
