Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Foreman specialized in Data Center projects to lead and oversee electrical construction activities on-site. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical installation teams, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately.
- Manage daily construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate tasks and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and construction site safety protocols at all times.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid for project scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting.
- Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical systems' integrity and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Oversee budgeting, procurement of materials, and adherence to contracts while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Supervise the review of schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising electrical construction projects within data centers or similar high-tech facilities.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols governed by OSHA standards.
- Skilled in project scheduling, management, supervising teams, and coordinating multiple trades effectively.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and utilize testing tools like ohmmeters for quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Construction site experience in data centers or similar infrastructure environments is highly preferred.
