Under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides one-on-one behavioral services, collects data, and helps teach communication, social, and daily living skills. The role requires strong communication, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals in achieving their goals in the home, clinic, community, and school settings.
Duties and Responsibilities

Work 1:1 with patients in the home, school, clinic, and community settings

Consistently implement treatment plans with fidelity and prepare program materials

Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes

Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations

Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required

Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learner's progress

Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed

Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the BACB

Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code

Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies

Adhere to time and attendance policies

Adhere to all of our policies and procedures
Qualification

Must have current/active RBT certification

High School Diploma (relevant college degree and coursework is preferred)

The desire to work with children (experience with individuals with ASD) is preferred

Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, including some flexibility regarding schedule changes required to accommodate patient needs

Must have reliable transportation to and from work location
