Our company is looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant to work closely with our team of Optometric professionals. A successful candidate will have prior clinical experience in an Optometric or ophthalmological clinic and will be able to effectively communicate with patients, work with contact lenses, and perform and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrists in vision examinations by obtaining medical histories.
- Preparing patients for exams by performing pre-testing and optometric testing.
- Assist patients with the care of, insertion, and removal of contact lenses.
- Clean, sterilize, and organize equipment for vision screenings and exams.
- Have above-average typing skills and working knowledge of EHR software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
