Doorvest is a fast-growing property management company committed to providing an exceptional rental experience for residents and property owners. As our portfolio continues to expand, we're looking for a customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Agent to represent Doorvest in the field by conducting property showings, assisting prospective residents, and helping maximize occupancy across our Greater Cleveland portfolio.
This role has the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance, portfolio growth, and business needs.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Leasing Agent is responsible for conducting in-person property tours, representing Doorvest professionally during showings, and providing timely feedback to help lease available homes. You'll work closely with our remote leasing team to ensure prospective residents have a positive experience from their first showing through move-in.
The ideal candidate is reliable, personable, organized, and enjoys working independently while meeting prospective residents throughout the Cleveland area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person property tours for prospective residents.
- Serve as the primary Doorvest representative during property showings.
- Answer questions about available homes, rental qualifications, and the application process.
- Follow up with prospective residents after showings to encourage applications.
- Coordinate with the Leasing Coordinator and Leasing Director to support the leasing process.
- Perform property walk-throughs to ensure homes are clean, secure, and show-ready.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and property condition after each visit.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including installing lockboxes, placing signage, and taking updated property photos when needed.
- Provide local market feedback, including rental pricing, competitor activity, and leasing trends.
- Maintain accurate records of showings, prospect interactions, and property visits.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in residential leasing, real estate, property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible schedule.
- Familiarity with smartphones, Google Workspace, and property management software.
- Experience with Rentvine, RentEngine, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and the ability to travel throughout Greater Cleveland on a regular basis.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on showing demand.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Ohio real estate license preferred, but not required.
- Experience leasing single-family homes or multifamily properties.
- Comfortable taking high-quality listing photos with a smartphone.
- Familiarity with the Greater Cleveland rental market.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

Regular travel between assigned properties is an essential part of this role.
