What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and safety inspections.
- Conduct basic mechanical repairs like brakes, suspension, steering components, and batteries.
- Handle light line work such as replacing alternators, starters, water pumps, and belts.
- Keep your designated service bay clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist senior technicians on complex jobs to expand your mechanical knowledge.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in an automotive shop or dealership.
- Tools: Must have your own basic set of hand tools and a reliable toolbox for daily tasks.
- Skills: Solid understanding of basic automotive systems and comfort using shop lifts and tire machines.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Attributes: Punctual, hard-working, and eager to improve your skills daily.
