American Legion Post 1 is looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Part-Time Bartender to join our team. If you enjoy providing excellent service in a welcoming, community-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly, courteous customer service to members and guests
- Verify age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Operate the cash register/POS system and handle cash accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere during regular hours and special events
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- Current alcohol server permit/certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
