Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner for an apartment complex to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry facilities, and outdoor walkways to ensure they are spotless and inviting.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies to sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash efficiently.
- Conduct floor care including buffing and polishing to maintain a polished appearance in high-traffic areas.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical fixtures, or structural concerns.
- Support custodial responsibilities during special events or move-ins/move-outs to ensure the apartment complex remains pristine.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff on facilities upkeep and participate in routine inspections to identify potential issues early.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing, and use of cleaning equipment.
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
