Overview
We're looking for an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to run a commercial and residential landscaping route. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll drive the crew truck and trailer to job sites, lead a small team through the daily schedule, and be the primary point of contact for our customers. We're a growing local landscaping company that values reliability, quality work, and a crew that takes pride in the properties we maintain.
Responsibilities
- Drive company truck and trailer safely to and from job sites daily
- Lead a 2–4 person crew through the daily route, assigning tasks and ensuring quality standards are met
- Communicate directly with customers on-site — address questions, flag issues, maintain the relationship
- Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape equipment
- Ensure all properties are serviced on schedule and to spec
- Report equipment issues, customer concerns, or route problems to ownership promptly
- Maintain accurate daily job logs/checklists
- Train and onboard new crew members as needed
- Follow all safety protocols for equipment operation and vehicle use
Skills
- 2+ years of landscaping/lawn maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Comfortable driving truck + trailer combinations
- Strong communication skills, you'll be the face of the company to customers
- Reliable, punctual, able to work outdoors in South Florida heat/weather year-round
- Bilingual, English and Spanish
- Experience with commercial properties and HOA accounts a plus
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
