Multiple Tool Room & Mold Maintenance Opportunities

Pay: $22.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on position and experience

Job Summary
We are currently hiring for multiple Tool Room, Mold Making, and Mold Maintenance positions within a manufacturing environment. Opportunities are available for candidates at varying experience levels, from mechanically inclined individuals with hands-on tool experience to experienced Moldmakers, Tool Makers, and Mold Mechanics.
Depending on the position, responsibilities may include assisting with mold assembly and disassembly, cleaning and maintaining molds and components, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing injection molding equipment, completing mold changes, fabricating or repairing tooling and fixtures, and operating Tool Room machinery.

- Tool Room Utility – 1st Shift | $22.00/hr.
- Tool Room Utility – 2nd Shift | $22.00/hr. + $1.00 shift differential
- Moldmaker / Tool Maker – 1st Shift | $25.00–$30.00/hr.
- Mold Mechanic – 2nd Shift | $22.00/hr. + $1.00 shift differential
Some 2nd shift positions may require initial training on 1st shift.
Responsibilities May Include
- Assist with mold assembly, disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
- Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair injection molds and molding equipment
- Perform mold changes and assist with equipment repairs
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring equipment
- Read blueprints, mechanical prints, hydraulic schematics, and/or electrical prints depending on experience level
- Operate Tool Room equipment such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, OD/ID grinders, EDMs, and CNC equipment as applicable
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical issues
- Fabricate, repair, or modify tooling, fixtures, molds, and machine components
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
Qualifications will vary depending on the position and level:
- 1–3+ years of mechanical, Tool Room, mold making, mold maintenance, or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand tools
- Injection molding equipment repair and maintenance experience required for Mold Mechanic opportunities
- Tool making, mold repair, machining, or related technical training preferred for experienced Tool Maker opportunities
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, CNC equipment, EDMs, mills, lathes, or grinders is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or mechanical prints depending on position
- Basic computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment
Candidates with entry-level mechanical experience through experienced Tool Room and mold maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Position and compensation will be determined based on experience and skill level.
