Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient movement of goods through our warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document all deliveries and shipments using warehouse management systems and data entry tools.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately for GP delivery or shipments via FedEx, UPS and other common carrier.
- Ensure proper packaging of goods to prevent damage during transit while adhering to shipping & receiving procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, updates in inventory management software, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and preparing products for shipment or storage.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating weights or dimensions accurately.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining precise records.
- Must have valid drivers license with good driving record for occasional local deliveries.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, carriers, vendors, and customers.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
