Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the City of Norwalk.
DSH-Metropolitan is now accepting applications for a Permanent, Full-time Program Assistant position in Program V.
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Assistant will assist in managing program operations. Responsibilities delegated by the Program Director include but are not limited to: performance improvement projects, treatment programming for patients, environmental inspections, incident management and risk management tasks, research tasks, evaluating training needs and making recommendations to the Program Director, providing coverage in the event of the Program Director's absence.
Candidates should be highly motivated, possess the ability to self-initiate and work independently, demonstrate strong leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have strong attention to detail, work effectively and efficiently with others, have proficient computer skills, and contribute actively to operational needs and the delivery of patient care services. Candidates must be willing to work in any Unit/Program and any Shift to meet the needs of the facility.
