About the Role:
CBRE is seeking a Sales Analyst to join ourhigh-performing Chicago Occupier Advisory team , supporting one of CBRE’slargest and most dynamic U.S. markets. This is an exciting opportunity for anearly-career professional who is analytical, highly organized,relationship-driven, and driven to grow in commercial real estate.
You will partner with the sales management team andbrokerage professionals to support the business and our managed brokerage operatingmodel.
In this role, you will sit at the center of the business —partnering with sales leadership, brokers, Research, Marketing, Operations, andsupport teams to help drive business development, pipeline visibility, dataquality, and technology adoption across the market. You will gain broadexposure to a significantly sized team and broker roster, including seniorproducers and Vice Chairmen, while supporting client pursuits across industriessuch as healthcare, life sciences, technology, legal, and other major occupiersectors.
This is not a traditional heads-down analyst role. The rightperson will enjoy working with data and dashboards, but will also thrive in ahighly interactive, fast-paced environment where communication, poise,curiosity, follow-through, and relationship-building are essential.
This job is part of the Sales Management function.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for management and maintenance of the market database of all client pursuits and brokerage team pipelines. Research internal and external prospective client company history. Track progress and issue periodic updates to leadership.
Ensure business plans, pipeline reports, prospecting strategies, and dashboards are accurate and completed on time.
Prepare materials and engage in market meetings and broker debriefs to support the sales process.
Partner with Research and Marketing teams tosupport business development reports and materials..
Act as the local Salesforce expert, assisting brokers, support staff, and management in the full utilization of the platform.
Learn, support, and drive the adoption of other broker technology tools and systems.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward and concise information, asks questions and check for understanding.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree required. 1–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, sales operations, research, business analytics, financial services, or a related field.
Analytical mindset with comfort working with data, reports, metrics, dashboards, and business trends.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to interact with brokers and leaders at varying levels of seniority.
Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Poise, maturity, and the ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders through responsiveness, judgment, and clear communication. Nice to Have:
Strong interest in commercial real estate, sales operations, business analytics, financial services, or broker-facing advisory work.
Salesforce or CRM experience.
Prior experience in commercial real estate, sales operations, research, business analytics, financial services, or sales support.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, target lists, or pipeline tracking materials.
Comfort learning new technology platforms and helping others adopt tools and processes.
Interest in building a long-term career within commercial real estate.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum hourly Salary is $30/HR. The minimum hourly salary is $20/HR. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
