Job Title: Carpenter
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be proficient in various carpentry techniques and capable of working independently or as part of a team. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to deliver high-quality results. Finish work is a main focus
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to understand project specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, fiberglass, drywall, etc.) according to project requirements.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, molding, and hardware.
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs, ensuring they are level and plumb.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures as needed.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each project, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including architects, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure project success.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Complete projects within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentice carpenters as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and measuring tools.
- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and precision in all aspects of carpentry work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
