Doorperson – Luxury Residential Building (Full-Time)
You are the first impression. You set the tone. You help residents feel recognized, protected, and at home.
We’re hiring a Doorperson for a high-end residential building in Lower Manhattan. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in showing up sharp, staying alert, and delivering calm, respectful service every day.
What You’ll Do
- Greet residents and guests with professionalism and warmth
- Open doors, assist with packages, strollers, luggage, and mobility needs
- Maintain awareness of the entrance, sidewalk, and arrivals at all times
- Coordinate with the concierge and porter teams to keep traffic flowing smoothly
- Direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to building procedures
- Help residents with car service pickups and departures
- Keep the entry area clean, orderly, and well-managed
- Enforce access rules consistently and respectfully
This is an active, standing position that requires focus and presence throughout the shift.
What We’re Looking For
- A service-minded attitude and strong situational awareness
- Comfort interacting with residents in a polished, respectful manner
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Willingness to follow clear standards for appearance and conduct
- Prior residential, hotel, or front-of-house experience is a plus

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time shifts available (including weekends and holidays)
- Union position (32BJ)
