Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead VPK Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience in school settings and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes the holistic development of children. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of students, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's learning journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with VPK Standards
- Teach physical education, literacy, math, and other core subjects to toddlers and young children.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
- Monitor student progress and provide early intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall curriculum.
Experience
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting, preferably in private school environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience in early intervention strategies is a plus.
