Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in assisted living facilities. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status
- Administer medications following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption
- Support residents with memory care needs including Alzheimer's and dementia care through specialized techniques
- Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting safely when required
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
- Follow established care plans and protocols for patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adherence to regulations such as HIPAA
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care preferred
- Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred
- Ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with disabilities in various settings
- Strong observational skills for patient safety and health monitoring
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support devices like Hoyer lifts
- Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards residents’ well-being
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information
