Location: SMP Health St. Raphael – Valley City, ND
Schedule: Full-time, 9:30am-6:30pm during the week. 11am-7:30pm on rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Nutrition Assistant and help provide quality meal service to residents in a caring environment. This role supports food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation while ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and serving according to portion guidelines
- Deliver food trays and snacks to designated areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Maintain food storage and inventory
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Support residents’ rights and uphold SMP Health’s mission and values
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Dietary/food service experience in a healthcare or supervisory setting
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and move throughout the day
