Overview
The Fleet Mechanic is a full-time salaried position located at our shop in Landing, NJ. This position will proficiently conduct repairs on renovation and irrigation equipment, maintaining seamless communication with the Shop Manager regarding equipment readiness status.
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Strong mechanical skills and expertise in gas and diesel engines as well as hydraulic systems.
- Ability to conduct maintenance and service on machines in a shop environment and field environment as needed.
- Ability to load and unload equipment for transportation for timely project start up and completion.
- Proficiency in Fleetio for inventory and equipment management.
Expectations & Accountability Structures
- Oversee equipment repairs with a focus on timely execution and cost efficiency.
- Maintain regular communication with the Shop Manager, providing updates on equipment issues including repairs, damages, and safety concerns. This ensures coordinated action for timely and cost-effective repairs, thereby guaranteeing equipment readiness and operational success.
- Proficient in performing duties within both shop and field environments, demonstrating adaptability and versatility in all operational settings.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
