Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, coupled with leadership skills to drive performance and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources, develop staff, and implement best practices to ensure the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
Manage technician time to reduce guarantee, Process warranty on timely basis.
Work with service writers to produce service sales.
- Oversee daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and train staff in automotive diagnostics, repair techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Manage inventory levels, including parts and supplies necessary for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to service quality or vehicle repairs.
- Monitor financial performance, including cash handling procedures, to ensure profitability.
Skills
- Proficient in mechanic skills including brake repair, oil change, tire service, diesel engine repair, and air brake systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Experience in service writing to accurately document services performed and communicate effectively with customers.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management at all levels.
- Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
