Job Description:
The Aviation Maintenance Technician (Advanced) is an individual contributor role responsible for completing assigned aviation maintenance processes and activities in accordance with established procedures. Work is standard with moderate complexity, often with precedent, and performed with limited supervision. The role supports service delivery by assessing issues and performance that may promote or impede outcomes, and provides assistance and informal training to less-experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a defined set of aviation maintenance operational processes in accordance with established procedures
- Complete assigned maintenance activities with limited supervision, with additional oversight focused on complex or new assignments
- Identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess using standard procedures, and make sound decisions within established guidelines
- Assess maintenance issues/performance factors that may promote or impede service delivery and support resolution efforts
- Provide assistance, guidance, and informal training to entry/junior-level maintenance team members
- Support manager or senior staff as directed and act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- Demonstrated experience supporting turboprop aircraft
- 3+ years of related experience
- Associate’s degree or higher in a specific field, other related (technical, business, quantitative) field, or foreign equivalent (preferred)
- Working knowledge of aviation maintenance procedures and tools developed through formal training or work experience
- Ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision and limited discretion to vary from standard processes
- Work Schedule: rotational schedule of two weeks on/two weeks off, working 12-hour shifts

Schedule: 14/14 (12 hr shifts)
Pay: $53.11/hr (W2)
