POSITION: HGO Warehouse Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Household Goods Oahu (HGO)
REPORTS TO: HGO General Manager
FLSA: Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing daily warehouse operations for the division, including warehouse readiness, container movement, equipment inventory, crew supply requirements, and compliance-related activities. This position provides oversight to warehouse personnel, addresses operational issues, and coordinates with dispatch, coordinators, job-site crews, vendors, and terminal contacts to ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with operational schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Direct and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to operational priorities.
Supervise, guide, and follow up with warehouse personnel to support productivity, accountability, and timely task completion.
Monitor items entering and leaving the warehouse, and control and distribute equipment and materials assigned to crews for job completion.
Coordinate maintenance, servicing, and ordering of warehouse property, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with the Military Storage Management Program, including timely pest control and fire extinguisher inspections.
Provide back-up support to dispatchers by responding to crew and customer calls, and provide supervisory coverage as needed.
Provide project management support for the receiving, storage, delivery, and inventory control of project freight.
Perform other duties as directed by the HGO General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience/Skills/Knowledge:
One year of freight, transportation, warehouse, or logistics experience
Two years of supervisory or lead experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based systems
Familiarity with Oahu streets, routes, and geographical locations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, customers, and clients
Ability to provide direction, address concerns, and support customer service expectations in a professional manner
Sound decision-making, problem-solving, and responsiveness in a fast-paced operational environment
General understanding of safety, risk management, and operational compliance requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Skills/Knowledge:
Prior experience supervising warehouse, logistics, transportation, or household goods operations.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, warehouse equipment, and safe operation of material-handling equipment, including forklifts and tractors.
Experience coordinating container movement, dispatch support, crew assignments, or project freight.
Familiarity with military household goods storage requirements, warehouse compliance standards, or inventory control procedures.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, assign work, monitor follow-up, and support accountability in an operational environment.
MENTAL, PHYSICAL and COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and in high-pressure environments.
Ability to apply logic and reasoning to resolve complex problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing work duties and working cooperatively with others.
Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing operational needs.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requires lifting to 25 lbs., bending, and climbing in and out of vehicles
Ability to understand and enforce the Company’s safety program
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed primarily outdoors, including time on the loading dock and in warehouse environments
NORMAL WORK HOURS:
Work schedule is based on the operational needs of the division.
Weekend and holiday work may be required, as directed by the HGO General Manager.
GUIDELINES:
Follows and adheres to all internal policies and procedures, House and Safety Rules, and any employee policy guidelines if applicable.
Carry out goals and direction provided by the HGO General Manager.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
