Job Summary
Richfield Trailer Supply is looking for a motivated, dependable Part-Time Parts Specialist to join our team. We're seeking someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong customer service skills, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. Every day is different, and the ideal candidate is a team player who is flexible, organized, and eager to learn.
Previous trailer or parts knowledge is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
Schedule
Store hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday, and 8:00am - 1:00pm Saturday.
This is a part-time position. Hours range from 10–30 hours per week, depending on the applicant’s desired number of hours, the company’s needs and seasonality. Availability to work 1–2 Saturdays per month is required.
Please note that these hours are approximate and may vary based on business needs. We value flexibility and are looking for candidates who can adapt to changing schedules when needed.
Compensation
Starting Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
Monthly Bonus: All employees participate in a bonus program based on the store or company exceeding monthly revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting trailer parts and accessories
- Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone
- Use a cash register to process sales
- Stock shelves and maintain organized product displays
- Tag and bag inventory
- Perform general cleaning and store maintenance
- Pump propane for customers (training provided)
- Count and organize inventory
- Work as part of a team to keep the store running efficiently
- Assist with warehouse duties, if needed (unloading, loading, shelving or picking product)
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous customer service experience and a desire to help people
- Friendly, professional attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in trailer, automotive, RV, or other parts sales
- Familiarity with inventory, stocking, or warehouse operations
- If you have a chauffeur's license, a valid health card, and prior experience pulling trailers while driving a pickup truck, please let us know that too
