You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and parts departments to deliver exceptional service, promote additional repairs or maintenance when appropriate, and help maintain the dealership’s reputation for excellence. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, listening carefully to their vehicle concerns and needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and estimates to ensure customer understanding.
- Write accurate service orders and estimates using automotive diagnostics and auto estimating tools.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, auto body repairs, and other automotive diagnostics.
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of integrity.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including vehicle history and repair notes.
- Stay informed about new automotive technologies and repair procedures to better assist customers.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or prior auto service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and upselling automotive services.
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, suspension systems, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, air brakes, alignment services, and more.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Previous experience working with mechanic teams or in auto service management is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
