Overview:
We are seeking skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook/Front of house individuals to join our dynamic team at Bonfire Old Fashioned BBQ. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our guests. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that every meal is prepared to perfection and that every customer has a taste of old-fashioned hospitality. Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including, salads, entrees, caterings, and desserts, according to recipes and menu plans.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Work effectively in a team environment, supporting other team members.
- Ensure food is prepared and served safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and addressing any concerns.
- Take customer orders while maintaining an old-fashioned customer service.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or front of house in a restaurant or catering service preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly around the
kitchen.
Skills:
- Culinary skills, including knife work and food preparation.
- Experience in the food industry or catering service.
- Ability to use a kitchen display system along with a handheld pos system.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality dishes and workplace.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with food service operations and safety regulations.
- Pride in own work.
- Professional communication skills.
