Responsibilities
Available Shifts: 2nd (3:00 p - 11:00p) 3rd (11:00 p - 7:00 a)
Troubleshooting experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), AC/DC drives and basic instrumentation (temperature, level, pressure).
Analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays
Connect wires to fixtures, motors and other electrical equipment; replace switches and fuses, ability to run conduit.
Promote teamwork and show a willingness to work with other departments
Ability to troubleshoot automation technology, make minor adjustments, reset minor robot issues using teach pendant, and assist in root cause analysis with team.
Capable of repairing pneumatics and hydraulics.
Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests
Must be capable of and makes repair parts from sketch, sample or blueprints.
Responsible for preventative maintenance and documentation on equipment.
Assists maintenance manager in purchasing of replacement or spare parts required.
When required, transports material to or from outside facilities.
Required to use handcarts, lift trucks, overhead crane or other transport vehicles efficiently and safely.
Housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
