Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. (AOI) is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to support daily transportation and logistics operations between company facilities in the Houston area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company box trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between facilities.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo to ensure safe transportation.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations.
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating box trucks required; experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Forklift certification and prior forklift operating experience are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday – Friday
License Requirement
- No CDL required (for company vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVWR).
