Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality construction outcomes. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and civil engineering project management will drive project success while maintaining safety standards and client satisfaction. Duties
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar civil engineering project management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
- Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools, ensuring budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor construction site activities daily to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam.
- Conduct analysis of project data through Excel data analysis techniques to evaluate cost performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization.
- Oversee project progress through detailed construction scheduling and civil engineering project management software, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and civil engineering project management tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, cost management, and contract administration processes.
- Expertise in project scheduling and construction scheduling methodologies to optimize timelines.
- Experience with construction site operations, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data related to project costs, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Effective project coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Background in heavy civil or general construction projects with hands-on site experience preferred.

Pay: $87,956.88 - $95,087.86 per year
