We are looking for a polished, hands-on, and dynamic leader to oversee à la carte dining and beverage services.
Role Overview
Our Dining Room Manager manages staff and service for our member dining room (Mingle), cocktail lounge (Mixx), seasonal outdoor dining area (Terrace), and service bars. This position reports directly to the Food & Beverage Director and supports the overall management of the F&B team.
You would work closely in a departmental team environment with other food service managers who are responsible for banquets, setup, housekeeping, and general operations. In this role, you will balance active dining room floor leadership with strategic administrative management. Your focus will be on maintaining service standards, training staff, managing high-quality wine and cocktail program, and fostering strong member relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Floor Presence & Hospitality: Lead dining room service by example, greet guests, do table touches, and handle feedback with poise and professionalism.
- Beverage Program Management: Oversee outlet beverage programs, curate wine lists, design seasonal cocktail menus, and manage inventory.
- Cost Control & Inventory: Order spirits and wine, conduct routine inventories, minimize waste, and analyze pour costs to maximize profitability.
- Service Standardization: Train, mentor, and audit FOH staff on fine-dining steps of service, wine pairings, and mixology.
- Reservation & Floor Mapping: Optimize seating charts, manage reservation systems, and coordinate seating for daily service and club events.
- Labor & Schedule Management: Create cost-effective staff schedules based on reservation forecasts to meet labor targets.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce liquor laws, health codes, and Club safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of management experience in high-end restaurant or club operations
- Expertise: Strong background in dining room service, fine-dining etiquette, and bar/beverage management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with beverage menu development, inventory control, and POS systems.
- Availability: Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and major Club events.
- Certifications: Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS) certifications required (or able to obtain within 30 days).
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: Salaried pay range - $50,000 - $54,000.
