KMJ Tax and Accounting, Inc. is ready to grow, and we need your help to fulfill our vision to be our client's favorite accounting firm. We’re looking for a special person who loves to help people, has well-developed accounting skills, a deep understanding of federal and state taxation, and a real ability to relate to others. Meeting with people and talking on the phone are a huge part of this job.
Your role will involve providing accounting, consulting, and tax services, while providing an exceptional level of client care. You will help on-board new clients, review monthly accounting and review already prepped individual/business tax returns. You will have in person appointments with clients and perform a small number of monthly bookkeeping tasks. There will be one or two monthly offsite bookkeeping engagements that involve bank recs, payroll other bookkeeping tasks. The right person will be excellent at communication both verbal and written, detail oriented and organized. Follow through and initiative are required. Must have at least 5 years experience preparing and finalizing returns.
This is a part time position that requires you to be in office. Ideal hours would be 9am to 1pm with the option to work less when we are slower.
There will be plenty of available support to help guide you, however you will be working independently most of the time.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
