Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction plumbing and have experience working on various plumbing systems in commercial settings. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Projects are all prevailing wage and rate varies by county.
Travel is expected.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks when necessary for equipment or materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing, particularly in construction environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Prior experience with carpentry is beneficial.
