Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poachers, braising pans, and food production appliances.
- Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ingredient prep to support high-volume food production during busy service times.
- Serve guests with enthusiasm, taking orders accurately and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food handling, food preparation, or restaurant service is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience including knife skills, grilling, braising, poaching, and general cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Experience working in fine dining or high-volume production environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, recipe adherence, and meal preparation protocols.
- Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
