Adecco is assisting their client in Whittier, CA hire for a Stock Room Helper.
The Stockroom Helper is responsible for supporting daily stockroom operations in a Manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate material handling, inventory control, and timely delivery of parts to production to maintain efficient workflow and prevent downtime. This role ensures production lines are supplied on time and that inventory is accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against P.O.’s and packing slips.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated locations (bins, racks, shelves)
- Issue materials to production based on Order Schedules, Blues Report or requisitions
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Syteline or inventory systems
- Label, tag, and properly store materials to ensure traceability
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Support kitting of materials for production jobs
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Use the company vehicle to pick up materials when needed.
- Maintain a clean DMV record.
- Other job duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (ERP systems experience is a plus)
- Ability to read work orders, part numbers, and basic documentation
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
