Responsibilities
- Assist with table setting and ensuring all dining areas are clean, organized, and inviting for guests
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables efficiently and preparing them for new guests
- Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
- Engage in manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment using safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Support catering events by assisting with food handling, setup, and cleanup processes
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness through routine cleaning duties including sanitation of surfaces and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hospitality operations such as serving, bussing, or catering enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures is essential for maintaining health standards
- Experience with manual handling and heavy lifting ensures safe and efficient task completion
- Strong communication skills are vital for internal communication within the team and delivering excellent customer service
