DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the visual appearance of the actors
These responsibilities include what is seen (clothes, shoes, hats, purses, canes, parasols, jewelry, wigs, makeup, etc.) as
well as what isn't (corsets, hoops, boning, character elements such as padded stomachs, etc.).
Collaborate with director on vision for character costumes
Acquire needed costumes through methods of building, renting, borrowing, or buying
Measure students for proper fittings
Create costume tracking for each character
Dry clean or wash all articles of clothing before returning during strike
Attend technical rehearsals to insure all pieces work for the actors
