Roastify is a small coffee manufacturing and dropshipping company based in Bend, Oregon. We roast, package, and ship coffee in every form you can think of — whole bean, ground, single-serve PODs, instant, sample boxes, and wholesale orders. We're a tight team that takes pride in doing this well, and we're looking for someone who'll fit right in.
Overview
As a Coffee Production Associate, you're the bridge between freshly roasted coffee and a customer's hands. You'll package whole bean and ground coffee into our retail and wholesale formats, keep our production stock list filled, and help make sure we never run out of what's selling. You'll also help with related products — PODs, instant, sample tubes — so no two days look exactly the same. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, clean, and efficient workspace where your skills in sanitation, food safety, and equipment operation will shine.
Duties
- Package whole bean and ground coffee into 2 oz, 12 oz, 5 lb, and wholesale formats
- Operate production equipment (Action Pac, weigh-and-fill machines, grinder, bandsealer)
- Keep backstock organized and rotated — ground vs. whole bean, single origin vs. blend
- Maintain accurate counts in our in-house software (every package, every batch, logged)
- Help with POD manufacturing, instant fills, and tube products
- Keep the production area clean — daily and weekly cleaning is part of the job
- Cross-train in shipping and equipment maintenance so you can flex when the team needs it
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and on time
- Comfortable on your feet for most of the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (help lift sacks of green coffee, full bins, cases of finished product)
- Detail-oriented — weights, labels, and lot numbers have to be right
- Decent with computers — you'll be logging everything in our software
- A team player who's willing to learn other roles and help out where needed
- Coffee experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting pay: $16.50/hr
