Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clients with insurance solutions that meet their individual needs. As an Insurance Agent, you will leverage your communication skills to build long lasting relationships with clients while helping them navigate the complexities of insurance products. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Serve as a primary point of contact for our commercial insurance clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally to manage their insurance needs.
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding policy coverage, changes, renewals, and billing.
- Prepare and process certificates of insurance, binders, and other policy-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
- Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and to explain policy options, coverage details, and pricing.
- Stay current on industry trends, policy changes, and new insurance products
Experience
- This role requires an understanding of commercial insurance products including but not limited to: General Liability, Workman’s Compensation, Commercial Auto and Professional Liability
- 0440- Insurance Customer Service Representative License. 2-20 General Lines Agent License (Property & Casualty) would be a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a commercial insurance customer service role.
- Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g. QQCatalyst CRM for Insurance agencies Software)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
