Front Desk Administrator Team Member

How will you spend your day?
- You are a critical part of the patient experience with Wellesley Family Care. You will demonstrate customer service excellence in all interactions, including patient phone calls, as well as check-in and check-out for appointments. Patients will feel well cared for after interacting with you.
- You will handle varied patient requests for appointments, referrals and refills while following office policies and provider preferences. These requests will come by phone, the patient portal and from the clinical team. You will learn how to best complete these tasks efficiently and accurately because you love the feeling of helping patients navigate the healthcare system.
- You will work collaboratively with your team, which includes senior front desk staff, remote phone crew, medical assistants, nursing, management and providers, utilizing the electronic medical record (Epic) efficiently to complete all patient administrative needs. Your team will know they can rely on you to come to work on time, ready to work, with a positive attitude.
Skills
· Proven experience with customer service, office management, clerical tasks, and administrative support roles
· Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry skills
· Excellent phone etiquette with experience handling multi-line phone systems and customer support
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
· Experience in medical or dental receptionist roles is advantageous but not required
Monday to Friday (Some Saturday Availability)
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
