Home health agency looking for licensed vocational nurses (LVN) to work in the field for the Long Beach, South Bay areas. Responsibilities include providing patient and caregiver education, perform wound care, recommend changes in treatment as needed, administer injections, coordinate care and report to Case Managers, document care provided on patient's electronic health record. The candidate must be willing to drive and have good time management skills in order to be efficient field staff. Must be able to coordinate with Case Managers and doctors to report patient condition and obtain orders. Computer proficiency a plus as electronic charting is required. Agency is willing to train and support qualified candidates. Pay rate is negotiable, varies per visit and workload.
